Honey's story all started when we adopted her during October 2013.

I remember it like it was yesterday..

After initially looking at another cat at a small local rescue centre. We decided said cat wasn't suitable for our family. Mostly because we had two other cats at home whom wanted a friend not an enemy! We met Honey at her foster home. Honey if I remember correctly was the only cat in foster. Why was this? I hear you ask. Honey was a special cat, the main reason for this being that she had neurological problems which affected her balance and coordination. They thought either her mother had an infection or Honey had suffered from lack of oxygen during her birth.

Back to the day we met Honey. She was in the living room of her foster mum's home. I remember she was very excited playing with her toys and wondering when lunch was due. Honey's schedule was far too busy pondering how to kill the enemy, (the enemy being her toy) instead of giving any real attention to these random human visitors. After spending some time with Honey we left heading for the car. Honey was on her lead after her foster mother showed us how well behaved she was. I remember fondly of how Honey watched us with her piercing green eyes as we walked to the car. Sitting in the car I realised I had to have her, I had to bring her home!

This sweet sweet silly girl brought alot of laughter and joy into our life. Always carefree, always so gentle and loving. I picked her name 'Honey' because she was so sweet like the food.
